At Hikma House, we are looking for female support workers who are focused on supporting people with disabilities to support them in leading their best life and have experience working with clients who display complex or challenging behavior and willing to travel to the Northern and Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.
Main Tasks include:
- Personal care assistance
- Assistance with Medication
- Meal planning and preparation
- Cleaning, laundering, ironing, and light household duties
- Organizing outings, activities, and games.
- Companionship and conversation
- Community participation
- Other tasks as required.
Essential requirements to succeed in this role:
- To be considered for this role, it is required that you have a minimum of 12 months of experience in complex care and with client exhibiting behaviors of concern.
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or Community Support or working to the equivalent.
- NDIS Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Food Safety Training Certificate
- Medical Administration Certificate
- NDIS Training Modules
- Current First Aid Certificate, and CPR
- Current Australian driver's license

Casual hours: Between 24 to 40 hours per week
