About the role
As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our NDIS services. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring that our services meet the needs of the communities we serve.

What you'll be doing
- Designing and executing targeted sales strategies that attract and secure new NDIS participants and disability service providers, leveraging a deep understanding of the NDIS market.
- Actively engaging with potential clients through industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, establishing a strong brand presence in the NDIS ecosystem.
- Driving the sales cycle by introducing potential clients to Hikma House's NDIS services, focusing on how our offerings support individual participant goals
- Preparing and delivering customized presentations, proposals, and tenders that reflect the unique needs of potential clients, aligning solutions with NDIS participant goals and service provider objectives.
- Cultivating relationships with NDIS participants, families, carers, support coordinators, and disability service providers, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for client needs.
- Maintaining regular touchpoints with existing clients to assess needs, address concerns, and uncover potential areas for service enhancement or expansion.
- Staying updated with NDIS policies, frameworks, and best practices to ensure compliance, while monitoring industry trends and regulatory changes to position the organization as a leader in adaptive and innovative disability services.
- Analysing market trends, competitor activities, and participant needs to identify growth opportunities, provide strategic insights for service expansion, and collaborate with marketing to create campaigns that align with NDIS participant preferences.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, growth and/or partnership management within NDIS sector
- Proven track record in business development or sales within the NDIS or disability support industry.
- Strong knowledge of the NDIS framework, policies, and guidelines.
- Excellent understanding of participant-centric service delivery and the needs of NDIS participants, families, and support coordinators.
- Demonstrated success in identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities with a focus on developing strategic partnerships.
- Ability to think strategically, analyze market trends, and identify growth opportunities within the NDIS sector.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements and reporting obligations in the NDIS context.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
